My friend Amanda (Hootie) was raving about this book. So one day I was looking through Netgalley and saw that it was on there. Since she loved it, I thought I'd give it a whirl.

I did love it! Violet is so spunky. I felt bad for her. This is the classic fall in love with your best friend but he's with someone else story. And holy moly is his fiance a bitch. I thought maybe I just wouldn't like her because she was with Gabe, but wow.. you will see.

One of my favs about this book is Violets lesbian roommates. They are hysterical. I was dying at some of the stuff they said and did. But most of all, they were there for her like family, which made me love them even more

Gabe, what an asshat at times.. but you can so obviously see what Violet sees in him. Landon.. oh enter Landon, the new guy. I liked him.. I truly did, but man is this guy fast. It's not true what they say about women. Men are just as likely to get crazy and catch hella feelings. I wanted to reach in side my kindle and get the guys attention.. “dude... don't name your babies yet, Mmmkay?” lol.

The painful past.. well that wasn't a surprise to me.. for one, I stumbled onto a spoiler. Yes!!! that’s right!!!! for all of you who might not have known, androids goodreads app does not hide spoiler reviews. They show up hidden on the computer but not on my phone. So while I was innocently clicking onto the book to mark it as currently reading, what to I see. All caps right on the top. The very secret that's being kept. Nice, right!

It's all good though, it didn't ruin the story for me, you catch on pretty quickly anyway as to what she's keeping hidden. 

Overall, awesome book. I will definitely have to read more from this author. :-)
