GoodReads DescpriptionChloe Peterson is having a bad night. A really bad night. The large bruise on her cheek can attest to that. And when her car skids off the side of a wet country road straight into a ditch, she’s convinced even the gorgeous guy who rescues her in the middle of the rain storm must be too good to be true. Or is he?
As a successful photographer who frequently travels around the world, Chase Sullivan has his pick of beautiful women, and whenever he’s home in San Francisco, one of his seven siblings is usually up for causing a little fun trouble. Chase thinks his life is great just as it is—until the night he finds Chloe and her totaled car on the side of the road in Napa Valley. Not only has he never met anyone so lovely, both inside and out, but he quickly realizes she has much bigger problems than her damaged car. Soon, he is willing to move mountains to love—and protect—her, but will she let him?
Chloe vows never to make the mistake of trusting a man again. Only, with every loving look Chase gives her—and every sinfully sweet caress—as the attraction between them sparks and sizzles, she can’t help but wonder if she’s met the only exception. And although Chase didn’t realize his life was going to change forever in an instant, amazingly, he isn’t the least bit interested in fighting that change. Instead, he’s gearing up for a different fight altogether…for Chloe’s heart.
So
I signed up for this tour on Autumns recommendation. ( She's
awesome). I am really enjoying these books. I'm on the 5th
one right now and as we dwindle down to the last days of the tour, I'm
sad that I didn't get to review more of them for the event. EmergencySurgery kinda screwed me there, but I've gotten a lot of reading in!
These
books are pretty sexy, so I've decided to go ahead and tie them in
with our Sexy Saturdays and since I've been horrible at participating
in that, here is the perfect solution. :) So over the next few weeks
I will be blabbing about these Sullivan men just about every
Saturday, so prepare yourselves.
The
Look of Love is book 1 in this series. I know they said when I signed
up that you don’t have to read them in order, but I kinda have this
OCD when it comes to reading books in order. I can see how they are
easily separated, with their own stories, but its so much more fun to
read them in succession. Because they really get better as you go. Plus I like to see updates on the characters I love as I get further in the series.
That
being said, I guess The Look of Love would be my least favorite so
far.. But hear me out. That's not necessarily a bad thing. In this
book you meet Chase and Chloe. Chase is one of the infamous brothers.
I found their story to be sweet, and maybe a bit cheesy at points.
The Sex though, was pretty darn hot. Lets just say I need to get me
one of those tubs when we remodel our bathroom. Hells yes, Power jets
to the vagina! Count me in!
I
also loved the setting. It takes place on a Vineyard. Now I hate
wine. I know, blasphemy, but it tastes like butt. #truestory. I've
not specifically tasted butt, but I'd gather the butt in question
would have rotten fruit exiting it. How's that for a visual? But the
real visual you get is from reading about the Vineyard. I would love
to visit one someday. And just not drink the wine, but look at the
pretty plants.
Seriously
though, You get a peak into this family of the Sullivan’s, and you
can't help but want to read more about them. At the end of each
story, it kinda leads you into the next. I find myself getting
excited.. “what brother is gonna get bitten by the love bug next!!”
I have since given into temptation and looked ahead, but for the
first few I anxiously awaited the epilogue!
If
you are in the mood for a sexy, fun light fluffy read, try these out!

I love this series, too! And honestly, the stories just keep getting better & better. I can't imagine reading them out of order. I made it through book four, and I can't wait to read the rest.
ReplyDeletethey are so good, and they do just keep getting better and better. I'm all caught up, now I just have to wait for lori's book. :)
DeleteLove this series! I need to read books 6 & 7. Can't wait for Lori's book too!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either. I think it comes out the day after my bday. :)
DeleteI haven't read this series yet...maybe because I'm not a light and fluffy reader? I've heard so many great things about it though so maybe one day I'll try it out.
ReplyDeletethey definitely aren't deep reads, but that's the appeal at least for me. I needed a break from all the cry your eyes out books. lol
DeleteLOVE this series! :) Well, the ones I have read so far! I skipped ahead and read this one when I got all the books. LOVED it :)
ReplyDeletethey are great. <3 I'm addicted to this family of sullivans.
DeleteWHAT. You hate wine? Um we can't be friends anymore sorry that's a dealbreaker ha ha.
ReplyDeleteKidding.
Kind of.
<3
I'm OCD about reading books in order too, especially romance books. I've been curious about these books since they always seem to be on my kindle store front page. I'll have to give them a shot because I'm all about those fluffy reads.
lol, it's true. Don't hate me! Maybe I just havent' found the right one yet. I like to use it for cooking, so that's gotta count for something! :)
DeleteLove this review, and glad you loved reading "The Look of Love!" Thanks for taking part in our gigantic tour, and if you have time to cross-post your reviews to Amazon and GoodReads, that would be lovely :-D
