This week I decided to read Safe Haven (Xcite Romance) by Shanna Germain. I searched through Amazon to find some free erotica titles and this was one of the gems I came across. I started with this one because of the – Xcite. The capital X drew me in and made me feel like I might be reading some real porn.

I thought this was a cute book. Short, sweet, and smothered in cheese. I liked that there was no crazy stuff. I was a little worried since it takes place on a rescue farm with horses. There is a lot that could go wrong quick in that kind of setting if you know what I mean.

Kallie, she was cool. I felt bad for her in the beginning, because she obvs needed some cobweb sweeping. That girl was hard up, and thank goodness she gets hers. I have to say for as short as this little number was; there was a ton of side stuff. I kept thinking, “Would you shut up and fuck already! Jeesh” Oh, and they did. Yes indeed!

“Kallie,’ he said again. ‘Come for me…’ And she couldn’t help it.”

Dude! What’s this with coming on demand? That drives me nuts. It’s like a going theme in erotica. If my man says, “hey! Go wipe your ass!” That I can do, but coming on demand? I mentioned my annoyance about this in my 50 shades review. I want to find a women out there who can do this! (excluding porn stars of course.)

Ooooo, here is a good one!

WHAT! There are two things wrong with that. Guys who giggle are not hot. Stick me in a room with a gorgeous naked man, and if he giggles, I will walk the fuck out. No thank you.

Second thing… If I was being eaten out, and the eater starts laughing in any way, I’d be mortified. Thinking I had three lips or something. It’s rude to laugh with your mouth full.

Um…. No! I’m a huge advocate for hot chocolate. Swiss Miss would be fucking appalled! I do not eat pussy, so maybe I have no say in this, but I did a little pole amongst males to see. In my opinion, there is no way snatch is tastier than Cocoa.

Overall, I gave this a 3 star on goodreads. I liked it for what it was. A cute little story with some steamy sex!
